169 Corte Constitucional de Colombia The Constitutional Court shall notify the President of the Republic or the President of Congress, depending on the case, of the initiation of any proceeding that seeks to examine the constitutionality of provisions that they respectively issued. Such notification shall not postpone deadlines for the proceedings. The Government may not provide employment to judges of the Constitutional Court during their terms on the Court or in the year following their retirement. ARTICLE 245 ARTICLE 244
